OKLAHOMA CITY — A Norman, Okla. certified public accountant received the Distinguished CPA Award from the Norman Chapter of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs at the organization’s Annual Members Meeting on June 12 in Tulsa, Okla.

Phil Hollingsworth, CPA, a member of the OSCPA since 1982, is the co-owner of Picek & Hollingsworth in Norman, was honored as a Distinguished CPA.

Hollingsworth has volunteered with Crossroads Youth & Family Services Meals on Wheels, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and Aging Services, Inc. He is a past treasurer for the Cleveland County YMCA, a past board member for Full Circle Senior Adult Day Center, served on the Cleveland County Workforce Development Board and has also spent time with the Norman Youth Soccer Association.

The OSCPA Norman Chapter, which includes Cleveland, Garvin and McClain counties, selected its Distinguished CPA based on criteria measuring community involvement, professionalism and activism in the CPA profession.
