There is no place like home! Which is why we are excited to host OSCPA's 103rd Annual Members Meeting, in person, on Friday, September 17th at the Hyatt Regency in Tulsa.
Though the pandemic has been tough, over the last year and a half, OSCPA members displayed plenty of courage, brains and heart. Join us as we share our achievements, celebrate our award winners and follow a path to new beginnings.
COVID-19 Update: In accordance with current CDC guidelines, the OSCPA encourages all attendees to wear a mask when indoors.

Parking: Parking validations will be available the day of the event. Attendees should park in the South Parking Garage, located just east of the hotel on 2nd Street. This garage is attached to the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Overflow parking is also available at the West Parking Garage, located at the northwest corner of 2nd Street and Boulder. Oklahoma CPAs, award recipients and their guests.
Andy B. Cromer
Andy Cromer, CPA, is a director with HSPG & Associates out of Oklahoma City. With more than 25 years in the profession, Andy has worked with a diverse client base that includes local governments, Indian tribes, manufacturing and nonprofits. Andy is a frequent speaker at various OSCPA sponsored events and training sessions.
Elizabeth Field, JD, is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Washington and Lee University School of Law. She began employment with the Oklahoma Tax Commission as an Assistant General Counsel in 2008. In 2016, she became Deputy General Counsel, supervising the Protest/Litigation section of the Office of General Counsel. Field has also served as an officer of the Oklahoma Bar Association Tax Section for the past several years.
Sheppard F. Miers
Sheppard F. Miers, Jr., CPA, JD, LLM, is currently a shareholder in the law firm of Gable & Gotwals, a Professional Corporation, Tulsa, Okla. He practices in the areas of federal and state taxation, estate planning, qualified pension and profit-sharing plans, deferred compensation and employee benefits law.
Mark O. Neumeister
Mark Neumeister, CPA, CGMA, is the director of tax services at D.R. Payne & Associates, Inc. in Oklahoma City, where he is responsible for all aspects of the firm's tax services. An OSCPA member for more than 24 years, Neumeister has served on the OSCPA's Continuing Professional Education, Business Valuation/Forensic & Litigation Support, Small Firm Practitioners and Taxation committees.
Jason P. Oelrich
Jason Oelrich, CPA, serves as the head of the tax department for the Eide Bailly office in Tulsa, where he leverages more than 25 years of professional experience as a CPA in public accounting and private industry to help clients maximize their success. He specializes in federal and state tax credits and incentives, having helped monetize more than $100M in federal and state tax credits. Jason assists buyers and sellers with tax planning considerations of M&A transactions, and provides tax services to public companies and closely held businesses in a variety of industries including renewable energy, real estate, telecommunications, manufacturing, construction, and automobile dealerships. He is a frequent presenter on taxation updates and investment tax credits.
William (Bill) Pirolli, CPA/CFF/PFS, CGMA, is the Vice Chair of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
Over his 40-year career, Pirolli has served in several volunteer roles: the AICPA Board of Directors, the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (Association) Board of Directors, the AICPA MAP Committee, the AICPA Small Firm Advocacy Committee, AICPA Council, the Association Nominating Committee, the ENGAGE Planning Committee and the AICPA Relations with the Bar Association Committee. He is a Past Chair of the AICPA/PCPS Executive Committee, serving that committee for nine years. Pirolli recently received the AICPA Sustained Contribution Award for 20 years of continued volunteer service to the profession.
Pirolli is a partner at DiSanto Priest & Co, CPAs, a multi-disciplinary accounting and financial services organization in Warwick, RI. He maintains an active client base and focuses on trusted advisor services such as estate and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, financing and litigation support, as well as traditional tax, accounting and advisory services.
He is past president of the Rhode Island Society of CPAs, where he served on numerous committees during 20 years of volunteer service. He was president of the Central RI Chamber of Commerce and served on the board of The Kent County Mental Health organization.
Pirolli is a frequent local and national speaker on issues related to the future of the CPA profession, firm practice management and future leadership.
David T. Potts
David T. Potts, JD, is a shareholder at the law firm Hall Estill. He is an expert who specializes in sales and use tax, withholding tax, mixed beverage tax, motor fuel tax, franchise tax, gross production tax, income tax, employment tax, property tax, excise tax, ESOP's, estate/trust tax and criminal taxation. For the past fifteen years he has worked extensively with numerous clients to resolve a multitude of tax related issues.
Mel Schwarz, JD, CPA, has more than 37 years of experience in the world of tax legislation in Washington, D.C., including six years spent on the staff of the Joint Committee of Taxation. He is a past chairman of the Tax Legislation Committee of the AICPA, and former member of its Tax Executive Committee. He received his B.A. from SMU, his J.D. from the University of Michigan and his Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas.
Amy Vetter, CPA is accountable for developing and executing the education strategy for Xero worldwide, such as Xero University (XeroU). Her role includes creating global consistency for the creation and management of training programs for Xero’s accounting partners, implementation partners and customers. Prior to Xero, she was the CPA Programs Leader for Intacct Corporation and performed many roles in the accountant professional division with Intuit, Inc
Additionally, Amy has experience running client accounting services practices, whether it be her own company or as a Partner in a CPA firm. She has authored a number of accounting technology reference materials and has been a contributor and a national speaker on financial and technology topics at conferences and universities throughout the United States.
Jimmy J. Williams
Jimmy J. Williams, CPA/PFS, CFP®, is the CEO/president of Compass Capital Management, LLC, in McAlester and an industry leader in the financial planning professions. He is a sought-after speaker providing ethics, financial planning, tax-efficient retirement planning strategies and tax planning to groups up to 1,500. Williams is involved in the future of the accounting profession, serving as the chairman of the AICPA National Accreditation Commission, the past treasurer for the AICPA Foundation, a board of directors member for the AICPA and many other committees. He is a past chairman for the OSCPA, a 2007 Oklahoma Accounting Hall of Fame Inductee and a 2008 Public Service Award recipient. He currently chairs the OSCPA's Bylaws Committee.
