Roger Gann

Roger Gann, CFE, is president of Martindale Consultants, Inc. in Oklahoma City, which employs more than 30 professionals and provides oil and gas compliance reviews and accounting and regulatory reporting services. Gann has been a COPAS member since 1995 and has served in several leadership positions within the organization at both the national and local levels. Leadership positions held include president of the Oklahoma City Society, Audit Committee chair of Oklahoma City Society, chair of the COPAS National Computer Equipment Pricing System (CEPS) Panel, chair of the National Emerging Issues Subcomittee and member of several COPAS publication drafting committees.

Jacob E. Pasby

Jacob Pasby, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer of Mack Energy Co. and oversees the accounting operations of the McCasland family's energy companies. Prior to joining Mack, Jacob was the CFO of Arnold Oil Properties LLC, a family-owned, independent oil & gas company. He started his accounting career at Grant Thornton LLP in the tax department where he focused primarily on partnership oil & gas taxation and obtained his CPA license in 2011.

Jacob graduated from Oklahoma State University with M.S. and B.S. Degrees in Accounting. He serves as a Director at Large for the Oklahoma Society of CPA's, is an OSCPA Educational Foundation Board Trustee and is an OSCPA OKC Chapter Past-President. Over the years Jacob has served in various capacities with the United Way of Central Oklahoma and Junior Achievement. Jacob and his wife, Danielle, live in Oklahoma City, OK with their three children; he enjoys running marathons, playing golf and spending time at the lake.

Brent L. Watson

Brent Watson, CPA, is the Principal at SALTA, PLLC, which he founded in September, 2017 after leaving an international accounting firm. He has more than 30 years of practice in sales tax, property tax, and tax incentive programs. Throughout his career, Watson has specialized in building systems of compliance and working with clients to educate personnel to simplify and improve sales tax processes and in building rapport with taxing authorities to effectively resolve tax issues on behalf of clients in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Watson launched the non-income tax group at Tyson Foods in 1990, then led that group for 10 years. He has 13 years of experience as a consultant and has extensive experience in the manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, and multi-state retailing industries. He has taught seminars for Lorman Education Services, is a frequent speaker for the Oklahoma Society of CPAs and COPAS; and has authored numerous articles in the OSCPA Focus magazine as well as the COPAS Accounts magazine. Watson is a certified Avalara implementation partner and a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma Society.
