This is the simulcast version of the ethics presentation. Would you prefer to join us in person? If so, register here.

The CPA profession is ever-changing. Many of the business practices of the future will challenge our foundational ethics. Attendees of this course will be challenged to think outside the box to arrive at resolutions to ethical dilemmas. Case studies will be presented, based on actual events. Attendees will role-play the part of Enforcement Committee Members of the OAB to decide the outcome for the CPA in question.

Objectives

  • Become aware of situations that give rise to most ethical dilemmas and how to avoid them.
  • Review the most frequent violations of the AICPA Code of Conduct and the OAA.
