Industry Appreciation Month Lunch + Learn: Hear from two seasoned lobbyists, Jim Dunlap and H.J. Reed, about the state of Oklahoma legislature, including state efforts on tax policy and what to expect the last few weeks of the session. 

Lunch + Learn Programs: Lunch is included as part of the registration fee for the Lunch + Learn programs. Food will be served at 11:30am, and the CPE program will begin at 12:00pm. Lunch + Learn programs will be held the third Tuesday, every other month (unless otherwise noted), and are sponsored by the Members in Industry Committee.

  • Identify hot topics 2019 in Oklahoma.
  • Discuss legislative expectations in the final few weeks of session.

Instructors

James R. Dunlap

Jim Dunlap is a former Republican House of Representative and State Senator member for 16 years. During his tenure in the Oklahoma State Senate Dunlap served with distinction as Minority Leader of that body. Dunlap is also a past president of the nationwide American Legislative Exchange Council.

H.J. Reed

H.J. Reed is manager, State Government Affairs for Phillips 66. He is responsible for legislative, regulatory and political activities in the mid-continent region of the United States. H.J. is currently a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association, the Board of Directors of the Environmental Federation of Oklahoma, the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Educated Workforce Initiative and is chairman of the Refinery Group for the Oklahoma Oil & Gas Association.
