Michele Walker
Michele Walker is born and raised in Bethany, Oklahoma, graduating from Bethany High School in 2005 before attending the University of Central Oklahoma for a degree in Kinesiology. She has pursued careers at a handful of organizations before becoming an Account Executive at ImageNet Consulting in 2013.
It is at ImageNet Consulting that she found her love of being a salesperson, and during this time, she started joining different networking groups in Oklahoma City such as Greater Chamber of Oklahoma City, OKC Young Professionals, Edmond Chamber, South OKC Chamber, OKC Innovation District, and more. It was through joining these groups that she was able to establish herself professionally by connecting with likeminded individuals.
After 8 years at ImageNet, she moved onto Core Group in August of 2021, an accounting and bookkeeping firm that focuses on serving small to medium sized creative businesses with their financial planning and tax needs. Michele is passionate about assisting this industry, as there are not enough professional resources targeted at helping photographers, cinematographers, musicians, content creators with their business needs.
While working at Core Group she has further expanded her network by becoming the 2023 President of Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance OKC, sits on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma City Young Professionals, and through her professional networking endeavors has been named the 2022 and 2023 recipient of the OKCYP Outstanding Performance in Connecting and Networking award.
