Ashlee Crouch

Ashlee Crouch, was born and raised in Western Oklahoma. After leaving the practice of law after twelve years, she joined Deloitte as a Tax Senior Manager in 2019 with a primary focus on the federal qualified opportunity zones program that was signed into law with the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Ashlee earned her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 and her Bachelor of Arts in Letters from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. She is proud to have worn many hats in her career, from owning her own law practice to her time as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tulsa. Her background includes tax strategy and planning, tax controversy, state and federal tax collections, IRS appeals, application of I.R.C. § 280E to state-legal cannabis operations, municipal law, family law, veterans’ law, and government contracts. She has been admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and South Carolina state courts, United States Tax Court, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. She has also been accredited to represent claimants before the Board of Veterans Appeals. She serves as the Tulsa County Bar Association Tax Section Chair as well the board Treasurer for the Accounting Financial & Women’s Alliance Tulsa Chapter.

Joshua L. Elder

Josh Elder, CPA, has more than 10 years of experience providing assurances to both external clients and internally as part of an internal audit function. While in public accounting in a small firm, Josh worked on non-profit and privately held business in the manufacturing, retail, and fabrication fields, municipal and tribal governments, as well as employee benefit plans. He is a 2007 graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Josh was named a 2017 OSCPA Trailblazer and was selected to attend the AICPA Leadership Academy in 2018.

Jana R. Harkins

Jana Lewis Harkins, CPA, MBA is the chapter president of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Harkins is a member of the OSCPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Harkins received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma City University and her MBA was conferred by the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. Jana has been an OSCPA member for more than 20 years and is an active volunteer for several OSCPA Committees: Financial Literacy, Accounting Careers, and the CPE Committee. Although Jana has significant corporate accounting experience in telecommunications and medical device manufacturing; her passion is nonprofit accounting.

Jeremy D. Humphers

Jeremy Humphers, CPA Is a senior vice president and the Chief Accounting Officer at Devon Energy. Prior to joining Devon in 2003, Humphers was an audit senior manager with KPMG. Jeremy is a certified public accountant and a member of the OSCPA and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the boards for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, the East Central University Foundation and the Norman North High School Girls Soccer Booster Club. Humphers received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from East Central University, graduating with highest honors.

Yavor A. Nikolov

Yavor Nikolov, CPA, has 20 years of public accounting experience, all as part of the Tulsa office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He has experience working with a variety of audit clients, including public/SEC, private, governmental, oil and gas, not for profit, engineering and construction, manufacturing, investment management, publishing and electric utilities. He has participated in and managed a wide variety of audit activities, including financial statement audits, internal control attestations, government compliance audits, agreed upon procedures for regulatory and contractual compliance, due diligence projects, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, purchase accounting and fair value projects and financial derivatives. He has extensive experience working with financial instruments valuation, business valuation, actuarial, tax, IT and other specialists. He is part of the national and global team that modernized and popularized the statistical regression analytical tool as part of Deloitte’s Audit Innovation and Transformation initiative.

Vicky C. Petete

Vicky C. Petete, CPA is the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for Vision Bank and currently serves as the Secretary of the OSCPA where she has been a member for 39 years. Petete has previously served on the following OSCPA committees: Banking and Other-Financial Institutions, Membership, Nominations, Members in Industry, and Audit. She was recognized by the OSCPA as a recipient of the 1997 Outstanding Member in Business and Industry Award, the 2006 Distinguished Chapter Award, the 2010 Public Service Award, was inducted into the Oklahoma Accounting Hall of Fame in 2012 and was named a 2019 Path Finder. Petete was recognized as a Journal Record 2016 Woman of the Year-One of 50 Making a Difference.
Petete previously served on the Oklahoma Accountancy Board and she currently serves on the East Central University Foundation Board, Mercy-West Board, People’s Electric Cooperative Board, NASBA UAA Committee and NASBA Center for Public Trust.

John A. Strange

John Strange, CPA, is Assistant Professor of Accounting at OSU-OKC where he has taught financial, managerial, income tax, intermediate, payroll and computerized accounting. He has experience being a VITA site coordinator at the univeristy and previous tax and accounting experience at local CPA firms and small businesses. Strange has presented at a national accounting educators conference. Prior to becoming a CPA he was an instrumental music educator for grades 6-12 in the public schools of Oklahoma.
