Oklahoma CPA Day at the Capitol, March 11, is your chance to develop important relationships within the state legislature by sharing your perspectives on issues facing the accounting profession.
This exclusive member event will unite CPAs across the state as they gather to become well-versed in legislative advocacy. Gain a better understanding of how Oklahoma lawmakers evaluate bills and issues when it comes to the work you do as a CPA – and how the OSCPA and our membership work to pass favorable legislation on your behalf.
Oklahoma CPA Day at the Capitol is a free event for OSCPA members and attendees can earn an hour of CPE credit for participating.
Cynthia Cox, CPA, president of Cox Holstead & Associates, an attendee last year said, “This is a great, no-pressure way to meet your legislator and find out how things work at the Capitol. For anyone who has ever said, ‘There ought to be a law,’ this is a first step in finding out how ‘We the People’ can impact our legislation by using the power of our voices.”
