Who is Eligible for Membership?

The Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) is the only statewide professional organization in Oklahoma for CPAs, CPA Exam candidates and accounting students. Formed in 1918 with a charter membership of 31, we unite more than 6,000 CPAs in public practice, private industry, government and education and more than 400 CPA Exam candidates and accounting students.

CPAs
Fellow membership in the OSCPA is open to all CPAs who are in good standing with their state board of accountancy. CPAs who reside outside of Oklahoma or who are licensed through another state are also eligible for membership.

CPA Examination Candidates
Associate membership in the OSCPA is open to all CPA Examination candidates who intend to sit for at least one part of the CPA Examination annually. Associate members will not have voting rights but may serve as ex-officio committee members. CPA Exam candidates who reside outside of Oklahoma or who are sitting for the CPA Exam in another state are also eligible for membership.

Accounting Students
Student membership in the OSCPA is open to all students who are enrolled either full- or part-time at an accredited college or university with an interest in accounting. Accounting students residing outside of Oklahoma who are attending an accredited college or university are also eligible for membership.
