Key Responsibilities
- Financial Close & Product Costing
- Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries related to product costing
- Support monthly close activities, including turnaround cost analysis
- Reconcile production and transfer volumes
- Process distributions, assessments, and costing entries
- Inventory & Cost Analysis
- Calculate and record chemical inventory costs
- Perform cost analysis and reporting to support operational decisions
- Assist with finished goods inventory tracking and reconciliation
- Reporting & KPIs
- Prepare monthly financial statements and plant-level reporting
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators
- Conduct monthly plant cost variance analysis
- Capital Projects & Fixed Assets
- Track and report capital project activity
- Assist with AFE status reporting and project close-out to fixed assets
- Compliance & Internal Controls
- Maintain documentation to support SOX compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal control processes and identify improvement areas
- Partner with internal audit and support external audit requests
- Planning & Additional Support
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecast updates
- Support property tax reporting and payments
- Provide ad hoc reporting for corporate and site leadership
