Join the OSCPA for our monthly Lunch + Learn event over topics important to Oklahoma CPAs. This session equips professionals at any level with practical tools to build influence long before they receive a formal title. Participants will learn how self-leadership, ownership, communication, and trust form the foundation of upward influence. Through relatable examples and actionable frameworks, they’ll discover how to take initiative, support their supervisors more effectively, and strengthen team culture regardless of their position on the org chart. Objectives
- Participants will identify the core beliefs and habits that shape their leadership and learn how self-leadership (mindset, proactivity, responsibility) directly increases their ability to influence without a title.
- Participants will learn practical strategies for building trust "brick by brick" and communicating with greater clarity, empathy, and effectiveness - skills that consistently strengthen relationships with peers and supervisors.
- Participants will understand how to challenge ideas, offer solutions, and surface concerns in a respectful, mission-aligned way that strengthens (not strains) the relationship with their supervisor.

Brady Ross, recognized as a Top 15 coach and one of the 50 most influential young professionals in Oklahoma City, is the founder of Clear Path Leadership, a premier professional and personal development company based in Edmond, OK. At Clear Path Leadership, Brady empowers leaders to build confidence, boost productivity, and cultivate a deeper sense of purpose.
Brady is an accomplished author, having written three books. His newest release is the “Ignite Your Leadership” workbook, which offers valuable insights and reflections for young leaders. Alongside coaching his clients, he is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of coaches through his leadership role on the ICF Arkansas-Oklahoma board and his work as a trainer with Coach Approach Ministries.
Brady has been happily married to his wife, Mary, for nine years, and they have two wonderful children: Bennett, aged five, and Norah, aged three. In his free time, Brady enjoys golfing, multi-sport racing, cooking outside, and cheering on the Texas Rangers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
