Join the OSCPA for our monthly Lunch + Learn event over topics important to Oklahoma CPAs.
Oklahoma students are entering adulthood in an increasingly complex financial world. What are they learning to prepare them, and what approaches are making a difference? This session explores the current state of personal finance and economic education in Oklahoma, including recent changes to financial literacy requirements, challenges facing schools and educators, and strategies that are helping students build real-world financial knowledge and decision-making skills. Participants will also experience an interactive classroom activity and explore how financial professionals can help strengthen financial education and financial readiness across Oklahoma.

Leader Bios
Amy Lee
Amy Lee is a recognized leader in personal finance and economic education, both nationally and across Oklahoma. As Executive Director of the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education (OCEE), she leads statewide efforts to equip educators and students with the knowledge and skills needed for financial and economic success.
Amy is a past president of the National Association of Economic Educators and the Oklahoma Jump$tart Coalition and serves on the Economic Education Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Oklahoma City Branch. She has played a central role in advancing personal finance education policy in Oklahoma, working with policymakers and education leaders to strengthen requirements, shape policy, and expand the resources available to educators and students across the state.
